Mandala - The word "mandala" is from the classical Indian language of Sanskrit. Loosely translated to mean "circle," a mandala is far more than a simple shape. It represents wholeness, and can be seen as a model for the organizational structure of life itself--a cosmic diagram that reminds us of our relation to the infinite, the world that extends both beyond and within our bodies and minds.
Objectives:
- Import 3 .jpg images for word art template
- Review and apply skills taught in previous lessons (shape, line, texture, typography) to create three images that are related to your word literally or conceptually.
- Use typography and negative space to illustrate a word graphic using 3 original graphics; apply advanced layer styles to each graphic.
- Import 3 .jpg images and create 1 text file for mandala template.
- Using redial design, balance and unity create a mandala with personal meaning on an 8"x8" - 300 res. file
- Review and apply skills taught in previous lessons (shape, line, texture, typography) to create three images that are related to your word literally or conceptually.
